Recorded and Mixed by Jeff Lane

Ice Cube came to Chicago to shoot the movie, Barbershop 2 and took on recording the album Terrorist Threats at the same time with his bandmates W.C. and Mack 10.  This project was the last time Jeff Lane mixed an album entirely on an analog console.  "Every time I listen to this project, I question if mixing analog does indeed sound better than digital?  Taking into consideration that 808's did not have the melodic power of today and no autotune in the production, this album still holds up."

After working with many Chicago gangsters on music, Jeff Lane brought this Chicago mentality to West Coast Gangsta Rap. This album is the result.
