After finishing Surf and Late Nights, the next project to focus on was Chance's Coloring Book.  Starting on Jan 3 and working through May 11th of 2016,  the release of Coloring Book created a historic shift in the music industry proving an independent artist could compete with any record label.  The project received 7 Grammy nominations, including back to back nominations for Jeff Lane in the best rap n RnB performance category with two different artists, Jeremih 2015 (Planez) and Chance 2016 (No Problems).  The mixtape won 3 Grammy's, Best new artist, Best rap n RnB performance, and Rap album of the year.  Jeff won a Grammy statuette for engineering and mixing Coloring book.  In addition to engineering and mixing the mixtape,  the heavily rotated single, "No Problems" is also co-produced by Jeff  Lane.
